Medical Coding Instructor Needed - Part Time PRN position

NORA Healthcare Solutions, LLC is working in partnership with the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) licensed under the PMCC to provide the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) coding course. We are looking for a PRN part-time instructor for the CPC coding course to teach online, as needed. Must have a CPC certification and 3+ years of coding experience directly applying codes and guidelines. This is a perfect position for coding professionals who are looking for supplemental income with the convenience of working and teaching from home. Schedule:

· Saturday mornings, this may change, TBA

· As needed

Experience:

· Medical billing and coding: Minimum of 3 years exp. 5+ years preferred

· Online teaching experience preferred, not required

· Experience using Blackboard, 3M Encoder, work-related software

· Auditing experience preferred, not required

Education:

· High school education. Associate degree or higher preferred.

Location:

· Remote – Online based education

Pay Rate:

· $25-35 an hour, DOE

License:

· CPC Required

· CPC-I (Preferred)

· RHIA (Preferred)

· RHIT (Preferred)

· CCS (Preferred)
